Is it the 2nd to third syncro thing? I've heard something about that. I've also heard a few things on Hondas manual tranny's in general, but haven't heard anything bad about he auto trannys (yet).

Well, I'm 18, and I've driven 3 cars ... this is a grrrrrrrrrreat start lol

My neighbor has owned somewhere around 60 cars and he's probably 58-60 years old... I gotta put him to shame !!

Re: how many years do you keep a car?

I'm on a 10 year cycle. Both my wife and I have vehicles, so we buy a new car on a 5 year loan and when the loan is paid off, we replace the other car. That way, we only have one car payment.

Good thinking! I'd like to get on that schedule someday...after I buy my Bimmer I plan on keeping it, so it'll just be the wife's that gets switched out...
