The Jeep is sick....

My wife's Grand Cherokee wouldn't start yesterday when she went out to run an errand. WHen I got home form the New England Fire/Rescue Expo, I jump started it, ran the errand she was going to do and drove for about 3/4's of an hour around town and on the highway to recharge the battery. The ammeter on the dash indicated that the battery was charging at 14V.

Around 7:00PM, I was heading out to picj up dinner at Chez Siam ( (awesome Thai food! ) I was planning on taking the Jeep...

It was dead again. The battery's charge indicator eye is in the green, I think it's the alternator/voltage regulator. I dropped it off at Marlborough Auto Electric this morning. Their specialty is troubleshooting and repairing automotive electrical systems.

Has anyone here in the cybercity of Autopia had a similar problem with their Jeeps or other vehicles?
