New Z06 News

Upcoming Z06 Corvette, fastest ever, will start at $65,800
It's official, the new Z06 will be the fastest Corvette ever. Chevrolet says the vehicle breaks the four-second barrier from 0 to 60, with a time of 3.7 seconds while still in first gear. Pricing for the newest Z06 will start at $65,800, including destination charges.

Any hints on the horsepower rating?

With that low of gearing, knowing it probably has 6 gears would make it interesting to see what the gearing and speed is like for the rest of the gears.

DEAR LORD! 1st gear? 3.7?!? Good bye to ANY car after it gets supercharged by Ligenfelter.

The actual article is from Autoweek.com and goes on to say that the use of exotic materials in the car gives it a power to weight ratio of 6.2 lbs. per horsepower.

The GT would be sweet if it had the smallest pulley possible, the aftermarket borla exhaust, intake and drag tires. That thing would be awesome to see Everything would bow before it

I think you'd see one hell of a lot of smoke regardless of the tires.
