I used to be able to go there and read the forums. Today I can't get to the forums, it wants me to log in or register...has something changed?

hey setec-
bitog is, for lack of better description, a low budget bulletin board. I remember hearing not too long ago if volume kept increasing that they would have to limit viewing to registered members. Since you mentioned that you aren't registered, my guess is that's the reason.

I haven't seen anything on the forums themselves indicating a change. If this were a deliberate decision I would expect to see some form of announcement or at least a thread on it???
If you look at the Netcraft site report it looks like the forum was either moved to a new server or at the very least went through an upgrade on May 27 so to me that indicates that maybe they are still working out the glitches

Maybe I'm not remembering correctly but I believe 2 years ago we had that enabled here.  Brought in a lot of new members if memory serves. |
