add ons for side view mirrors

hi, i am not sure where this thread belongs so i posted it here. i was wondering how many people here buy the add on mirrors for their side view mirrors on their cars. i was thinking of getting one since when i change lanes i just use the mirrors most of the time so thought one of these things might help since my indiosyncrasy might end up killing me someday. how well do they work and are the round ones better or the rectangular ones? thanks

My father and my best friends father have been using them forever. Everytime anyone they know gets a new car they compete to slap the rectangular ones on first. I really like having it on there for the extra saftey. Driver side only.
