Exotic Car Shootout Video (big, fun 31MB file)
I always enjoy watching fine cars racing around a track:

The amazing thing about that is the HP difference between the winner and the 3rd place car. Seems like it should be a lot further behind. 3rd place car is also a 15 plus year old design!

Amazing isn't it. That is one of my favorite videos.
It is a shame the type R was never offered in the States.

Now that I think about it, it's the HP underdog of them all!

Well in the straight aways the lamborghini had a much better advantage. The NSX just seemed to have better handling around the s curves.

Well yeah, I could see that much. It's just a good testament that brute power will only get you so far when you're simply a pig. It's all about the balance. Imagine the NSX with 70 or so more HP and you have yourself a group of newer high tech cars that watch the tail lights of "old tech."

I think its a bit unfair not to use a Porsche GT3 as well which is more in line with the Lambo and Ferrari prices but it was still competitive.

I would have liked to have seen the M3 do a little better, but at least it kept up with the pack of exotics.

I would love to drive on that track...but with spacing between each car! I cannot believe how close some of those drivers would get to the other cars, LOL.
I'm surprised by how well the NSX did. At least, until it began to overheat.
