Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse..
My mom told me this morning "your windows are so clean, I can't even see them!". You can immagine how that turned out. Someone smashed my windows out on my TSi and stole my $400 stereo, some cologne, and change. Luckily I think they left everything under the hood alone, but I haven't checked... going out right now to look. The glass really messed up the interior. This is after my whole ticket and school mess, so depressed

Joe, Very sorry to hear about your window and the theft. I hope you did call the police, although from personal experience I know they won't have much luck. This sucks majorly but I hope that is the end of your bad luck streak. Take care and we're all with you on this.

Haha you guys act like it's a death or something... I guess to an autopian it is, though. What's worse is from pushing the car into the garage (since it broke down and won't start), I now have cracks in the paint on my front bumper. That almost makes me more mad than the window, stereo, or ticket.

Yikes, you're certainly having a run of bad luck! Hope the police report goes smoother than your other recent interactions with law enforcement.

Thanks guys. The police report went fine, the cop just went "you know you have expired tags?" but I don't think he was going to ticket me. I told him I had an extension from the DMV and he didn't mention it anymore.
I did have the serial number for the stereo, so if they recover it I'll get it back... but there's like a .1% chance of that

phewwww, all done. Took a long time to get every little piece of glass off of everything, but that is done... the window was replaced (found one at a junkyard) and the carpet was shampooed b/c I found a stains under the seat when I removed it to get the glass out from under there. This one will make for some great before and after pictures for the website.

I had a car like that. I swear it had a Bulls Eye on it.
Good luck with everything, hang in there.

On the bright side, it gave you an excuse to clean out the interior. Not that a true Autopian needs an excuse, but good luck going forward!
