Ah! G.A.'s Lexus got egged!

And I had to let it sit on the car over the weekend.

Story: I came home from school on Friday at 15 minutes 'til 3, and that's when I saw it. I needed to leave at 15 minutes after 3 for a trip, and I still had to pack. I had no choce but to let her sit, covered in that horrible gooey goodness.

Back to today. It was in the high 60's this weekend, and in the 80's today. This stuff is flat out dried on. I got lucky. The single egg only hit the glass of the sun roof, and barely hit the paint.

I know exactly who did it, and I'll tell you when I post the pics in a little bit.

Here's to hoping my clear coat wasn't terribly damaged

If you know who it was, I say tie them down and then do some involuntary exfoliation with the rotary on 2000rpm and some Powergloss. Start with the cutting pad and move to the polishing pad at 1500.

That's very lucky about it hitting only the glass--downright amazing.

Oh yeah, I know who it was. The problem is, I'll never see this creature again- not that I'll know of.

I just washed the car. The poor girl hasn't been cleaned since the day before I saw Dan to pick up said rotary (Sunday...last...Sunday). I was amazed at how filthy it was. Washing was horrible. The pollen went "screech" with each stroke, and I induced alot of marring. I also had to clay, relatively thoroughly.

BTW, alot of the egg residue hasn't come off. Priorities tell me though, that I have a marketing test tomorrow on a subject I didn't even know we were studying I'll have to attack the goo tomorrow afternoon, then repolish and reseal this weekend.

Well, I just got back from a concert just now (3am) to find my Talon covered in toilet paper, sticks, long grass, rocks, and tons of other stuff. Very mad... I don't think people realzie what they are getting into when they cause marring and scratches on an autopians car...

Wow, that sucks. I must admit that is the first time I have ever heard of going at a vehicle with such a wide variety of objects. Good luck on getting it all taken care of, I hope the damage wasn't too extensive.

Mongoose, you may want to try some Scratchx on the egg residue, it does a nice job on removing similar types of organic residue stains such as bird poop that has been baked on. It worked on my friend's corolla when it got egged.
