Kelly Blue Book says: private party $2,700. NADA says between $3400 and $5300.

Yeah, usually mods don't add a lot of value to the car though. I've seen cars with $20k invested that can only sell for $7k. But I can't answer your question because I don't know much about the preludes.

that doesn't seem like too much of a bad asking price. the only thing about buying a "pimped" car, its like buying a lifted truck, they probably "lifted" it/"pimped it out" for a reason.... too beat on it. I would defeinately take a look at it and try to get an honest background of the car. my friend(preluda92, he is on this site, feel free to PM him) had a 92 Lude with that same mileage and it ran extremely strong. Honda's are great cars. have you heard anyone ever say "damn, my Honda keeps breakin down".

Vernon

the "problem" with brandons prelude was that is was a great car.. and not only did we know that BUT the thieves knew that too. those ****ers!!

oh yeah, detailed by me of course, SGx2 P21Sx2

The Prelude is a great car. If I'm not mistaken, the SI has the VTEC H23 motor in it. Plenty of torque and horsepower for a car that size. Can't comment about the price, but I currently have a 1992 Honda Civic and that runs like a top. The car is as dependable as ever.

the prelude "vtec" had the vtec engine. the SI has a 2.3 liter non vtec where as the vtec model had a 2.2 liter vtec motor. the SI still has plenty of power to get ya around though IMO.
