Thoughts on Car Soap

I was wondering what the pros recommend for a good soap to strip wax and lift dirt and grime from the surface. To my understanding the dawn wash seems to be the way to go, but I'm sure there are other ways.........any ideas??

not really a car wash but APC+ does an amazing job stripping wax!

I know the bottle of the APC+ I bought through either Classic Motoring Accessories or Autogeek was a different color than the light blue i used to buy. Did they change the formula or something.

I've been using the Meguirs Car Wash Soap which supposingly has a high PH, but I don't like how it is. I'm only using it because the company screwed up my order and didn't pay for it. After you wash with it, it seems like dirt is left behind when you dry and there are like dirt water spots, and i know i've used enough soap in the mix.
