Louvers?

What ever happened to louvers? You know the shades that went on the back window of many vehicles. I do not see those at all anymore. Except on eighties mustangs, camaros, or firebirds. I am assuming they were to hard to detail or maybe people realized how stupid they looked.

Know that I think of it I have not seen louvers some time now.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I wonder what fad is next to disappear from our society?

Could it be lowered trucks that stop before every bump in the road?

Let's hope that Formula One spoilers on cars that would have a hard time breaking triple digit speeds is a short-lived fad. Fat fenders, yes. Big spoilers? Give me a break!

How about people with tinted windows that look like bubble wrap? I feel like they either are too cheap to buy glasses and use it for the light refracting properties or too dayum lazy to take care of their car!

Remember these?

a) Boomerang Antennas
b) Lighted License Plate frames with moving lights
c) Under Car Neon (Even though it's making a comeback)
d) "Hammer" rims (Basically Penta Star type rims)
e) Oversized Chrome Fender Trim (Some people still have it, but use it on the wrong car)

How about the stick on door lock protectors!

Curb feelers.

Pine trees hanging from mirrors!

Let's not forget wire basket rims. Those things were an absolute PITA to clean and a bigger PITA when rust was on them.
