I am 19 and wanting to get a beginner bike like a Kawasaki Ninja 250R or a Suzuki GS500F, but there is no way I could afford full coverage insurance, I want to get liability, theft and personal injury only. I have heard that if you owe less than half the amount of the bike's cost you don't have to get full coverage but I do not know if this is correct. I live in Texas if that makes a difference.
