Awakward clicking noise from underneath the vehicle???

i was wondering if anyone could help me out. im hearing a clicking noise when i start my jeep and it sounds like its coming from under the car by the drivers seat. Its easier to hear while inside the car also. any help would be awesome. thanks

Universal Joint . Normally this is more of a clunking sound. I blew enough of them on my TR6 with a Weber 6-pk set-up ( three 2 barrels carbs) back in the 70's.
Have you had them greased and checked lately?

Could also be a throw out bearing. When exactly do you hear it?

ok i hear it both when im idle and driving. It goes away after about 20 min of driving but occasionaly comes back when pressuse is placed on the left side of the car like when im turning. Im wondering if it could be my transfer case
