Talking Bought a Scion xB

My wife and I bought a Scion xB last week. I am really enjoying this car - it replaces my '89 Honda Accord.

It's not a fast car, but it has much more power than the Honda had, even with the automatic transmission!

There is so much room inside! I am 6'1" and can "sit behind myself" and still have plenty of leg room.

The in-dash 6 disk CD changer and automatic were the only options we got (plus an extended warrenty) and we're paying just $300.00/month for 60 months.

I ordered some 17" wheels and tires today, plus some other Scion options at reduced prices (gotta love the internet). I'll post some before and afters once all the parts are on the car.

Congratulations. Now it's time to talk about polishing and waxing that acquisition.

I was going to buy one but decided to keep my Civic. Are there any power mods for them yet? I know in japan they are called the BB and they have been around a little longer so maybe they have something?

Mods that are in the mail are 17" wheels, Injen intake, "altezza" style tail lights (same ones dealers offer), fog lights, cup holder and under dash lights (wife wanted the last two...).

Unfortunately, had no time to even wash the box this weekend.

Some go-fast parts that are out now are several intake systems. One supercharger that I know of, maybe even a couple turbo systems (if not available now, are in the works) and, of course, lots of different exhaust systems. I'd like to get a cat back exhaust, but I would want to hear the tone of others before I jump into that.

I like the xB. At least it's different than all the upside down bathtubs rolling down the street.
