I merge onto the on ramp and punch it. Bark 1-2 and 2-3 and just kept punching it. Got up to 125 before I left off a little. Not 1 word out of her mouth. Later that night she admitted she loved it wants to go 'driving' again in the future. She sounds like a keeper to me!
On my way to court with my dad to fight my 92 in a 65 mph ticket my dad punches it on the highway and gets up to 140ish. That was in a 1998 Mustang GT.
Made it from Orlando to North Miami Beach in 2 hours, normally take 4-4.5 going the speed limit / pending traffic.

However, most of my time was spent in a 1987 that I used to torch quite a few expressways. In fact, Interstate 80 between Chicago and Joliet saw me doing 100+ way before the 2002 Maxima.

After they let me go, I got tailgated the rest of the way through the state by seemingly every LEO on the road. This was in Indiana in '89, car was a Porsche 928S4, which I selling to Isringhausen Imports in IL. I was having a bit too much fun during my last drive in it

Town: 0-15 over the posted limit, depending on how residential the area is.
Top speed: 120 MPH.
Top speed pulled over at: 112 in a 55. The world's nicest officer then wrote me up for 85.
If I didn't have an underpowered convertible, I'd get into real trouble.

I also ran 125+ in a Mark VIII

I was headed back to Orlando from Jacksonville after picking up the bike from Sargent Cycle where I had a custom seat cover made. There wasn't any traffic and I just couldn't resist letting the horses run free....
Here is a link to the seat that Sargent made for me and a couple of variations they made as samples for their site as well....
