Thumbs up The Best Commercial (Porsche Turbo History)

Well, I think this one has topped them all. I will admit that this is the best commercial I have ever seen.

Not only is the marketing amazing, the message is soo perfect to it. The mood set with everything they do just grabs you and all the end it is arguably the most amazing machine on earth.

While you may have to watch it twice to point out all the messages behind each scene, this video will not be a disappointment.

(Right Click, Save As) Turbo History - 6.91 mb

Cheers!

There was another one, perhaps even better, narrated by Patrick Stewart and about the Boxster.

It must have been doen by the same producer, really well thought out. It showed the passage in a person's life from being a new driver, ecstatic about cars, to being beaten down by life and family into boring cars--and then the rescue being the Boxster.

I'll try to find the link for you guys. If you like this Turbo one you'll like the Boxster one.

I thought I had seen all the Porsche commercials….not that one. Thanks for sharing. I had to forward that link to my mom and dad because that little boy putting the poster on the wall describes my childhood perfectly (and my love affair with Porsche). Interesting enough, things have not changed as I have a Turbo poster similar to the poster the boy is hanging up framed in my office right now.

I think the best one was --"Dad, I missed the bus..." the great little girl and the work at home "older" Dad. When my daughter was that age and raced karts, it was great knowing that your kid realized the automotive meaning of COOL.

Me, I'm still wishin'....the Miata as close as I can get

Boxster Charlie: Here is a link I just stumbled upon with a ton of Porsche videos.

http://www.lad.lv/~martini/porsche/d...Sub=3&SubSub=2

Is the one you are referring to on there?

Thanks, Sean. That's a huge variety, although they are just OK in terms of video quality. The one I'm talking about is called "Love Story." Its about a dozen down in the list, or just do a control-Find on the word "love"

Hold on here!

I found a much better quality version, and it is the full 4:12 length. It is a big file, cable modem only! For a short time, I'm hosting it here:

Enjoy!
