a valuable lesson

I learned a valuable lesson last night...

Don't try to back out of the garage until the door is all the way up!

I put a small "pluck" dent and scratch in the tail gate of the Jeep and knocked the left side bottom panel of the garage door off the track. I was on my way to the firehouse to work.

The garage door was put back on track this morning, and I am going to a paintless dent removal specialist to see if they can do the tailgate.

Yikes! Sorry to hear this happened Gonzo. I was thinking about this possibility while I was sitting around dreaming of having a garage.....

Ouch! I always wondered what would happen if i did that. But I'm never in a hurry. Hopefully it won't be a biggie to fix.

Hmm... i wonder if they make a "high performance" garage door mod that speeds up the opening and closing times. LOL.
