2005 Mustang

Ford has finally announced the 2005 Mustang. It is built on the Lincoln LS chassis and uses the 3 valve 4.6 similar to the F150. The power is up to 300hp for the GT. I didn't think I was going to like it but, I am very impressed with what they have done. Now if I can only convince the wife to keep her '96 minivan so I can get a second Mustang Nahhh, just kidding well maybe

I got an email to the same link. I am not a Mustang fan even though my wife is but I really like the new stang. My wife will be buying a new Mustang this summer. Perhaps we will wait until the new model is on the showroom floor.

I believe I read somewhere that the Coupe will be available November and the Convertible the following February? Something along those lines. I really like the new model as well but, Ford is giving some awesome deals right now on the '04 models. I am probably going to hang on to my '01 GT and wait until the Cobra comes out for '06. It will be interesting to see where Ford goes with the Cobra.

My dad has an '01 Cobra right now and wants this Stang the day it comes out. I think he's gonna get on the list this weekend now that the specs and photo's are out.

However, I like it and all, but in the pic above, it REALLY needs rims.

Bob, I agree, it should be interesting what they do with the Cobra. I wish it was released at the same time, but seeing they are taking an extra year on it...should be something worth waiting for
