Yes, that is the Vette, no pop up lights,it has a front grille, big scopes on the sides, and they all come with the Z06 power plant. Leo @ the Autogeek.net is a real Vette nut and has had one on order for almost a year and hopes to be one of the first ones to get one!!! He has all kinds of info about the Vette. For more pic go to Corvetteforums.com and click on C6.

I'm not a Chevy fan, but I love that commercial and the new Vette.

I went down to the Chevy dealer to check one out. In my humble opinion, it is beautiful. I was amazed how much better it looks in person. Really, really nice.
But, the $25,000 mark-up over MSRP was just a little too much.

what do you guys think of the ssr . Personally, i would wait because for some reason 5.3 2valve v8 wit 300hp/335tq and tipping the scales at over 4000 lbs doesnt sound all that fast. But it is sooo cool who knows

Agreed. The SSR is one of those things I just don't get. It looks interesting, but doesn't have the performance to match its looks. Now if they put that Escalade or LS6 engine in...

I miss pop-up headlights. I think they're cool. A friend of mine said manufacturers don't use them anymore because they are no longer legal. Does anyone know if there's truth in that?
Anyway, I like the look of the new Vette, the Colorado pickup truck, and the SSR. Chevy's coming out with some cool rides for '05.

i read in car & driver that some of the ppl who worked on the c6 refereed to pop-up lights as air brakes Even though i hate car & driver, the article they did on the c6 is quite interesting
