wolkswagen lights not working

my sister has a 02' jetta 2.0 and her back lights dont work. Her

brake lights work but the back's do not. I know that the bulbs are

working, and i cant seem to find a fuse that is busted, but then

again its impossible to read which fuse even goes to the back

lights on the fuse guide sheet. Just wondering if anyone has and

suggestions or knows why its not working.

jon, when you say "back lights", which lights exactly are you referring to?? Is the entire back end of the car dark?

yes the entire back end, not just one side but both. again the brake lights work (there are 3 brake lights on in the back window and 2 on either side of the car's rear).

Go to http://forums.vwvortex.com and search for this problem and for a fuse guide. I found one there for my GTI.

Good luck.
