Well, I started to wonder about coolant additives, such as Red Line's Water Wetter or Royal Purple's Purple Ice. They claim to increase the heat transfer properties of the coolant(even dexcool). They also clain to lower coolant temp.s by 20* or more? But I thought engines must be allowed to reach their certain operating temps to allow for burnoff of condensation and contaminants?? I'm confused...will someone tell me the right thing to do?? Thanks! __________________ Life is just too short to drive a substandard vehicle...
