Volvo S60R

I admit, there are very few cars that would make me reconsider getting another Maxima but this particular Volvo is intriguing. What do you guys think of it? Would it be as cramped as a WRX in the interior for guys of my stature?

PrinzII, there are few cars like it! A luxury sports car with electronic suspension and 4wd control... With 300HP!

Sure it's not some cramped teenager car... it's an exclusive car!

Look at this:

Can you imagine long road trips on that? (best seats in auto industry!)

A nice piece to detail...

Prinz, the S60R is a good value for its performance, but the interior doesn't have the roominess of your Max. I sat in one, and while the front seats are comfortable, the aggressive bolsters might be too snug for those of us who aren't the 140 lb. European racecar driver.

At $40K, I'd rather have the faultless driving dynamics of a 330i or A4, which both don't look like a modified '97 Accord. Yes, they're slower, but they have the competence and grace many raw Swedish cars are lacking.

I like Volvos but I'd prefer a Maxima....provided the stock grill is immediately switched with a billet one!

Depends on the generation. I think you were eyeing the A32 (4th Gen) which spanned '95 - '99 if memory serves me correctly.

You could fitt one of each inside a S60... (modified 97 Accord? ) faultless driving dynamics... (you only sat in one...you could tell that??? ...and yet it's an European racecar driver...

I was looking at jgv's pics of the interior and can tell that it's not going to have enough room for a guy of my stature.

Don't get me wrong, I like the car very much but the main thing for the future Mrs. and me is comfort since we are both 6'+.

Bear in mind, I said the pic looks like it may be small. I am going to take a gander at it to see for myself before making a final determination.

You really should test drive an Audi RS6 with 450 HP! Puts that Ford owned Volvo to shame!

It's nice indeed, for only the cost of two S60's after insurance...

I fancy the volvo over any of the aforementioned cars.

For one, it has character - something audis, and particularly maximas - seem to lack from the factory (there are SOME audis that do, but they're too much $$).

The vovlo is intriguing, quirky, and it has plenty of room (sat in one and I'm 6ft)

In fact, that car is one of the very short list of new cars that I would buy today.

Just my .02$
