online forums don't seem like a place for selling a car, they just don't have the traffic. When I come to any forum, I look at the discussions not hte sale items, especailly not the sale items for a car since I already have one of the same type. My few 30 pesos.
The other thing, people might see the phrase "show car" and just pass. Most people buy for utility so they may feel the price is higher then what they would pay for a similar non-show car. I'm not sure what the going price is for a modified car, but usually the figure I've heard is normal blue book + 50-80% of modifications price.
the other down point is timing. As you approach fall and winter, prices for convertables and sports cars tend to fall because people won't be cruising around any more. In spring, sales of the "fun" cars picks up.
