Talking New Toy!

Brought home a new toy last night. We drove to Indianapolis from St. Louis in our one way rented Mercury (not a bad ride, actually) and came back in a '04 MINI Cooper S.

Can't wait for the weekend....the "mods" begin!

Here we are at the dealership.

I taped up the front end to protect it from chips for the drive home. I will install Xpel this week. They thought I was a little nutz. But I figured you would understand.

Now "Pepper" as we have named it (after it's color, Pepper White), is safe home after its first wash. The black roof is swirled and needs a buff badly. I will get to that tomorrow.

Brad! Brad!

You've got WAY TOO MANY toys. Would you adopt me please? I promise to play nicely with the toys and only on the weekends.

Yes, BradB's the man in the red sweater.

I bet the reason he's not replying in this thread is that he's having some serious bonding time with Pepper in the stable.

Something's wrong at your end then, bizzy928. He embedded the images here in this thread, and they even work for my pitiful 56k dialup connection.

Nice! I'm so jealous. What options are on that MINI?

I live in Indy. Did you get your Mini at Dreyer & Reinbold?

I love that dealer!

Now you have to watch the new "Italian Job", if you haven't already. Nice Mini action!

If you thought that was a fun ride, try a 10" shod original, a 90o bend taken by applying the handbrake [ok that's enough nostalgia for one day]

I'm glad that BMW is such having success with their version. if you ever get a chance to drive a mini you'll see what all the "fun" is about
