Any insurance agents in the house??

I am going to get in touch with my family's insurance agent to inquire about this as well, but I would like to get a quick, off-the-record quote from someone on here who has been or is an insurance agent. It does not, and should not, be too official. I just want to ballpark the insurance payment per month for me.

Anyways, I am a 21 (nigh 22) year old male. I have 1 point on my license, which will be off my record soon (2 months). I have had continuous insurance since I was 16. Bodily injury thing-a-ma-bob is $100/$300. I would like the quote for a 2003 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra coupe, which will be either black or silver. I have never been in an accident.

What do you think my quote would be?

I have an acquaintence (23 years old) with 4 points on his license living in Georgia, who pays $5400 a year for his Cobra. I would assume that would put me somewhere in the <$300 range, but I honestly have no idea.

Any clues/ballpark figures/ideas??

I knew it would be costly. The question is, how much? I was thinking around 300 a month for full coverage ($3600 a year), but I have no hard data to base that on...

Anybody??

why don't you just go to the many websites online, ie. mercury, 21st, progressive, gieco, etc. etc. which will give you a quote in 10 minutes. That way you have your rough idea.

I doubt anybody here will take their time to go through the hassles of doing it for you since you can do it yourself, or do it on their job for someone who will not buy a policy from them since time is money.
