suggestions on how to sell a car

My grandfather wants me to sell his 1977 Cadillac for him. The main problem is that we live in a very small town and have had no luck so far. I am thinking about trying autotrader or something simillar unless anyone has a better suggestion.

Also it is in very good condition so that is not the reason it is not selling.

Thanks

A question I have is are you setting a realistic price for a 25 year old car?

Price and demand determine if the car will sell....

There people out there who will pay good money for older cars that are in good condition.....try searching for where other older caddys are sold and pick one.....Hemmings is a start......

IF ya want to just get rid of it go to a dealership and get name and number of car wholesaler.....

Try ebay. I just detailed a 1964 Lincoln Continental for a customer.who purchased it on ebay Suicide doors and tons of chrome. Oh the good ol'days. The car was a 5 out of 10.

Mmmmmmmmm, 64' Continental. I love those cars! I would love to own a 63'. Maybe someday.

E-Bay is an excellent place to sell a unique car as it gets massive amounts of traffic. Good pics and a good honest description are real important. I have a good friend who's a dealer and he sells 6-12 cars per month on E-Bay with great success.

You might also want to put an ad in the Old Car Trader or Hemmings Motor News. Again, good pics and description help a lot.
