For those of you that don't want to read the following, ServiceKing PDR =

My wife and one of her friends were at ServiceKing having the bumper on her friend's car looked at because of some paint issues they had with the repaint ServiceKing did. The front desk lady said something to make my wife mad (I'm not sure what), and she ended up talking to the manager of the bodyshop. Fast forward a little, and my wife ends up getting the hail dent in her fender repaired for free. I must say that the dent was extremely deep, it looked almost like someone had nailed the car with a golfball right off of the tee. I was extremely impressed with the work they did. There is absolutely no sign of the dent except for a small wrinkle in the paint that my wife couldn't even notice (she is almost as autpian as me). We dropped the car off, and they had it done in 30 minutes. Very quick for having to remove the bumper, headlight, and fender liner to get access to the dent. No surface marring or "reverse dents" that you can sometimes get from an inexperienced PDR person. Overall, they get a thumbs up, and that would be even if I had to pay for it. I believe they told me that would be about a $70 dent if money were actually to exchange hands. I wish I had a before picture to show, but I don't.

Glad you had a good experience with ServiceKing. Which one did you go to? I had ServiceKing on I-30 in Mesquite do some work about 10 years ago. My initial experience was poor. I was called to pick up the vehicle several times; each time I refused the work as it was incomplete or poorly done. In the end, however, the job was acceptable and held up for the remaining years we owned the vehicle.

The Service King my wife went to is at the intersection of Spur 33 and Main Street in Frisco. They have only been there for about a year now. I don't have too much faith in their paint shop after seeing what they did to my wife's friend's bumper. The paint was bubbling up, and they said it wasn't their fault. Well, they were the ones that painted the bumper, how could it not be their fault. The PDR they use is actually an outside company they contract to work with them (at least at this location). I was actually very aprehensive when my wife told me what she was doing, I actually got mad at her for not telling me before they took her car inside. Since the job came out great, I looked like an a$$, and apologized to her. The thing that bothered me most was that when they were looking at the dent, one of the PDR guys wiped her dirty fender off with his bare hand so he could see the dent better (my wife told me about this after we left becasue she knew I woud freak out about it). I did not see any marring or scratches, so no biggie. I already have some buffer haze to remove from the side of her car that Caliber Collision graciously applied for me. It wouldn't be that much work to go over the fender too.
