Porsche Forums ???

I am detailing a 1988 Porsche 930 Slantnose (80k miles) next week, and the owner wishes to sell it immediately thereafter. Does anyone know of a Porsche message board for Porsche enthusiasts. The owner informed me that the car is in excellent condition and I would like to post some pics on a couple of sites.

Any suggestions on where to advertise this car on the Internet other than eBay???

Thanks

Post PCA

I've had 2 successful sales of my Porsche 944 and 996 using the Porsche Club of America (PCA) sites both national and local. But you have to be a member of PCA to advertise:

http://www.pca.org/

The club has so many members that a sale of a 911 is almost guaranteed.

In addition to the internet sites the Porsche Club of America's magazine (Panorama) has classifieds, as a PCA member you get a free advertisement.

There are also some brokers that would sell the car on consignment like www.Buxtonmotorsports.com (very well respected in the Porsche circles).

Rennlist is a good site, but pelicanparts.com will get you way more hits. It's a really great board-serious porschephiles and always looking for a clean, well maintained car!! And Dean, how did you do the bumpers and front spoiler? Did you use the pc? I am about to embark on a detailing frenzy of my 1986 guards red 911 turbo and could use any input you might have. I have been lurking and "searching" for a while, but this will be my first detail(actually I probably will practice on the wife's altima first).
