Air Conditioning service

I have a 1996 honda civic that has sat for a while. I used the AC this weekend for a long time. It worked great but it made me sick! I have the worst sore throat and chest congestion. I probably inhaled all sorts of dust and mildew and crud.

Is there a service that just cleans out the system? If so, how much does it usually cost?

its just a dust and pollen filter. It will probably run you about up to 16 bucks at a dealer. You can do it yourself, its pretty easy and im sure its in your manual just like it is in my civics manual.
