Question Jack Stand recommendations?

Well, the Porsche is now one year old and while I've taken reasonably good care of the wheels, I need to pull them for a good annual cleaning and polishing. Any recommendations on jacks or jack stands?

Thanks!
Jim

Just make sure that their combined capacity is far greater than the weight of your car.

I have a set of Craftsman 3 1/2 ton jackstands, not a single problem with them. They were $24 from Sears.

Also got my 3 ton floorjack from Sears and no problems with it either.

Sounds like a trip to Sears is in order this weekend. Thanks for the recommendations and especially the sizes of the jackstands and floorjack!

You might need to measure the height of the jack to ensure it will fit under your Porsche. You could also just drive up on 2 x 4's before putting the jack under it as well.
