Bling Bling - My Bentley Arnarge R (teehee)

Been driving a Bentley Arnage R for the past few days - it's a pretty nice car, but the most amazing part of the car is the MOTOR! This thing is seriously competent.

It handles and brakes like a car 1/3 its size - it's unbelievable. Oh, and then there's what I call "The Bentley Factor" - everyone and his brother rubbernecks at it when they pass you on the road, the gas station, the McDonalds, etc.

But alas, it's going back to Bentley tomorrow...and I'm stuck with the lowley 337.

Look for driving impressions in a forthcoming article of Mile Marker.

At first when I saw this

I thought it was that dude and his wife Stephanie back here again pushing their cars.. but then I realized it was one of us.. so my question is .... did you happen to leave any Mickey D french fries in it?... I cant imagine driving thru a McD's with a Bentley.. you would think Bentley would have some kind of device that would only let you stop a 4 star or better restaraunts.. imagine mingling with the riff raff that way.. harumph..
LOL
good show ol chap

16 years ago, my brother in law was detailing a Rolls. When we finished we actually went through the McDonalds drive thru as a joke and made believe we were using the "car phone" while ordering fries and a quarter pounder

O.K Steve, that is just mean. Where can I get a Bentley to drive around in for a few days? The Lincoln can go in the dumpster, it's Bentley time!

Oh, I forgot to mention I hate you now.

Steve-the Arnage R has the 6.75 liter turbo engine right? The Bentley Continental I detail has the 'red' engine and in the SC, it is rated at 400 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. I've taken one quick drive in it and the feeling of the torque is unreal! I've tried to convince him he should let me take it in late May when I go get my kids in Kentucky to **** off the ex, but so far he says no.

I did get paid to drive his wife's S600 one day though. It had a tire that kept losing air and he didn't feel like waiting at Discount Tire and since I was finished for the day, he paid me $40 to drive his $120,000 car and sit up at the tire store for 40 minutes. No way was I turning that down. At a 40 mph roll, that big V-12 pulls like mad! With 19" AMGs and low profile Michelin Pilots, it sticks like glue, too.

You sure got a great deal. I imagine an Arnage would be the ultimate freeway cruiser!
