Got a Battery Tender charger
Got one today. Is it necessary to disconnect power from the battery before using a charger? It says on the instructions on Preparing to charge that you should remove the grounded terminal from the battery but I have a knob screw(green) that can be turned counterclockwise to turn off power.

I've had my Battery Tender Plus for three years now, I leave the battery in the car and I don't disconnect anything. You don't have to disconnect the neg cable unless you're going to remove the battery from the car.

yeah i discovered that I don't have to remove any cables. Just plug in and leave it. This is the best and last battery charger I will ever have!
