So what is the Autopian discount?

I like the I30, but the Maxima weighs a bit less and you can get a 5 speed. If the price is right though....

Meet in Waco?

Maybe we could meet in Waco or Austin some weekend so you could see it to decide what it's worth to you. Even easier would be for me to send detailed photos direct to you. I'll even point out the smallest of blemishes.

I was thinking somewhere above $14K would be fair. I am open to offers however (especially from an upper eschilon (sp?) autopian like you).

I asked a friend who's in the car wholesaling business about your car. He said that while the color and equipment is great the miles are killing the value. At auction a car like this would sell for $10,000 to $10,500. A good retail price is $13,900 and a retail selling price is $12,500 to $13,000.

Don't forget that in 60 days your car will be two generations old and with the G35 selling like hotcakes the I35 is getting stale. That's depressing used values which further depressed values of older models.

If you really want to sell it you may consider pricing it at the lowest number you listed and be willing to deal. That will show potential buyers that you are serious about selling and should generate some interest.

Good luck.

I'll probably hang on to it. I don't owe anything on it, so I'm in no hurry to sell. Just curious if anyone had a specific interest in the car. I don't know what I'd replace it with (it's the wife's car).

If someone offered $14K, I'd sell it. If I had to sell it, I'd probably go as low as $13K.

They had one like this with 10K fewer miles for about $16.5K at the local dealer. It's also a no-haggle dealership. Sad thing is, it'll sell since it's at a reputable dealership. Of course, an individual selling the same thing wouldn't even sniff $15K.
