Eagle Talon Question?

I was wondering if anyone who has an eagle talon could just give me an idea if its worth buying or not. Im may buy a 97 with 87000 miles on it for about $4000-$4500. Its a black esi. Thanks

I would watch that transmission. Talons are basicly the same thing as the Eclipse. They are notoroious for going through trannys. Have your mechanic check it out before you buy it.

The ESI has a Chrysler engine that was also used in the Neon.
It also has some of the same problems that go with it.
The Turbo models had a Mitsubishi engine.
It might be one to pass on.
Just my opinion, though.

Charles

P.S. Had two Turbo AWD Talons with the Mitsubishi engine. That engine is almost bullet proof.

check out these sites first. That pricing sounds a little high for that car.

www.kbb.com
www.nada.com
www.carfax.com

this sites will give you some good info and will give you an average of what the car might be worth.
