Re: 0-60 Times

Try Google?? Talking about 0-60 times, I think they sometimes don't show the whole truth about a cars performance, how often do you really do 0-60 and how many can actually do it the right way?

Re: 0-60 Times

1/4 mile times are a much better figure to use.

^ you can't ever post again, you have 999 posts

1/4 mile times are often times more than you can do on the street. While the argument can be made where can you do 0-60, the argument can be made even better for where can you do a straight up 1/4 if you trap over 80mph. I'm a big fan of the 15-75 figure personally, it's more applicable real world. Unless your life is stoplight drag racing.

1k....

1/4 mile is published in most mags and is the better indicator of how fast a car accelerates. 0-60 is such a bad number, especially for cars with more power.

Re: 0-60 Times

-Passat sedan or variant?? 10.8 for the variant and 10.5 for the sedan.
-Accord sedan or tourer?? 9.0 for the sedan and 9.8 for the tourer.
-Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 automatic 10.9
-VW Jetta 9.1
The first 3 are german cars. The us cars could perform less due to the higher octane here in Europe.

Exactly. I personally don't give a crap about 0-60? 60ft, trap sppeds & 1/4 times are what matters in straight line reacing. A car could do 0-60 in under 4 seconds, but have a trap speed of 110 / and only do 12,80's.
