Any "free shipping" tire companies at X-mas?

I plan on buying some new rims from Next Line Motoring on-line soon.

Do any of the on-line wheel/rim sites offer free shipping during the Holidays like most of our car-care sites do?

Thanks for any info!

I ordered tires from Sams online. They ship them to your local Sams club for free. They also charge $9.50 per tire for mounting and unlimited balancing and rotating. Make sure you get the factory tire size though. I ordered a different size tire and they wouldn't put them on, so I had to get something else.

I find discounttire way over priced. I've had bad experiences when dealing with their retail shops as well. One of the Tire Rack warehouses is here in Reno, so I use them. I ordered from them before when in GA and got great prices.

Never dealt with Next-Line motoring though.

I just ordered tires from discounttiredirect.com. The tires were the lowest I could find them anywhere online or local. Free shipping and no sales tax and they had a rebate.

Couldn't ask for more... except a shop that could install them correctly.

Re: Any "free shipping" tire companies at X-mas?

The last time I needed tires, I ordered online and found that the shipping charges (something like 18 for 2 tires) easily washed against the higher prices of the local stores. Something like 130 vs 100 per tire. Not to mention sometimes you pay sales tax locally but not online.

Re: Any "free shipping" tire companies at X-mas?

another vote for discounttiredirect.com This is the only place that I get tires for our vehicles.

I've used tirerack before and their service great. Sometimes they do run free shipping specials. But I don't use them for tires because they normally charge for shipping and charge me tax on the purchase since they have a warehouse in the state.

Although if tirerack has the tires that you would prefer to order call and speak with them about shipping. They might do something for you if you mention that discounttiredirect does free shipping.
