Clear Bra/Paint Protection for Unusual Front End?

Hey guys,

If I decide to keep the Jeep I'm going to be repainting the front bumper and grille, it's pitted from road debris . After paint I would like some protection such as a clear bra, but I doubt it will work on such an surface (angular and many pieces). Is this possible? Is there any special clear you can request at the bodyshop?

Here is a picture of the front end for reference ( yes I know is SO dirty, this was taken just after winter).

Someone out there can definitely hook you up with a clear bra. It might cost a little extra, but a good shop will be able to custom fit you one.

Totally agreed. Some shops may even "thank" you with a discount as well if they don't already have templates for your vehicle. The key for your vehicle, along with the quality of the film cut, will be the installation...it'll be a bit painstaking to prevent lifting, and I imagine they'll use multiple pieces. Also - probably obvious, but just in case - make sure that fresh paint has fully cured before you have the film applied.

The 3m clear bra usually comes in widest at around 24 inches.... you might want to try buying bulk film online and just applying it yourself.
