My Oldsmobile books for so little (and gives me such few problems), it isn't worth getting rid of. It will just be my second car.

My shortlist would be a Nissan Altima or Maxima (not sure if I can go back to FWD), an E36 M3/4 (though those are getting harder to find, a G35, or a CTS-V. But with gas prices going the way they are, that last one may be not as likely.
I guess I might do a 330i zhp if I could find one reasonably priced. I just don't like the larger dimensions/additional weight of the e46 though.
To be quite honest, I'm still really pleased with my 328i and can't see pushing it out to pasture anytime soon. I figure the best deal in a new car is to put off buying one as long as you can if not completely.

I went and drove some Audi A8s last weekend and really enjoyed them. Considering a 2006 model, long wheelbase.

With two kids (and their friends) and all the traveling that we do, we just replaced our '00 Honda Odyssey with a '08 Odyssey. Even though we barely paid more than we did for the last one we got sooooo much more with this one. It's just in time for our big annual road trip in a couple weeks.

simracer- Yeah, I suspect my wife would say that the best deal on a car is often... not buying one Quote:

Just make sure you have a *GOOD* Audi mechanic, you'll probaly need him at some point.

If I find the right one, I'll probably jump on it in the next 6 months or so.

The plug in car with a 40 mile battery, but also has a gas generator for additional 350+ miles.
If you have less than a 20 mile commute, you no longer pay for gas.
