Your truck looks great, You have it detailed to the 9s.The repaint shouldnt hurt the value of the truck, if and I mean if the paint is top notch.

i say see what carmax offers you just to know the bottom. i know you can sell t private for much more. is it paid off??? your credit would be much better if you put 500 a month in your savings account for a year ( simulate that new car payment) oh and if your credit doesnt get better you still have 6000 grand to down pay on something

Re: How much would you ask for my truck?

I don't see a problem asking $16,000 and go from there. NADA is slightly more than that. A repaint (if done properly) won't hurt the value of it. Repaints only hurt values on high end or collector vehicles (if done properly). On a side note, it's strange how the shop couldn't do a proper color match/blend, but did a "perfect" paint job. That doesn't make alot of sense?

The mettalic kept being hard to blend. It was PPG paint (he has a 1yr contract with it) and it's hard to spray. So he resprayed the whole thing so all the flake would blend right.

I was going to take it to the dealer next week just to *see* what the'd give me on a trade.
