They are alright cars. I did seat testing on them 3 years ago at my old job. Just don't have a passenger riding shotgun

You're mistaking it for the Vauxhall Vectra, which is FWD and has about 270 hp. The Vectra is what Clarkson said had catastrophic understeer.

Top Gear absolutley LOVED this car! It's called the Vauxhall VXR in Europe, by the way.
Its a direct import from Australia, as well. Vauxhall also imports it from the Aussies.

And when its said that its faster then an M5, they are talking about top speed. The M5 in stock form is governed at 155 mph, while the G8 GT isn't governed at all, just like the CTS-V.

Top Gear didn't say the G8 (Vauxhall VXR) could out accelerate the M5. They said the Vectra was faster then an M5, and it is.

They are more then alright! They're an incredible value. The only major flaw is the badge.

They certainly are. I would be perfectly satisfied if they started making them with the same styling as the 98-02 WS6 had.

I've only seen two G8's so far, and both of them looked really nice in person! One of them was a brownish colorthat I didn't really like,but I would still drive it.

I saw a red G8 on a lot last weekend,and it was HOT! I'm sure I would've bought it if I had stopped and looked up close.
