Wait until the next version of the ZR-1 (700HP) gets formally introduced in ~ 2 years. It might be comparable to the 03-04 Cobra when the GT500 came out. We'll see what happens then.....

i personally know the buyer. dave is a great guy and an avid corvette collector (AND a chevy dealer). he has been building a corvette collection now for a few years and likes unique cars. he also owns #003 (1953 corvette), the first vin sold to the public back in the day as the "benchmark" along with about 40 other corvettes. foreign sports cars don't turn him on. if he wanted one or many, believe me he would have them!
