I'm sure they won't be turned off if they add a set of drag radials and go high 9's all day long either!!! If this car can hook, look the hell out.

Put I do like the car.
However, for the price I think I would of liked to have a Ford GT better.

Agreed. However, the interior is not as bad as it can be - ever driven a Dodge Viper? My goodness
I agree about the Ford GT - would much rather have it. Hell, even Jeremy Clarkson, the epitome of American car bashers, loves the GT. The interior is great as well (although I haven't had the privilege of seeing one in person, let alone drive one).

Re: ZR1 redux
For a $100K car that competes (beats) with cars 2-3 times it's cost, I'd be willing to sacrifice some looks on the interior. It's a sports car after all, which means it's main purpose for being built is speed & performance. How can someone have a legitimate complaint when their spending that much and getting that much raw power in that league of sportscar?
I don't remember the interior (or the exterior for that matter) on a Ford GT jumping out at me either.

Porsche tried to change their formula for success with the introduction of the 928 and 924/944 series in the 80's. Thankfully, they realized the mistake and return to their original plan and have not diverge from this path (excluding SUV) since.
I see no reason for GM to follow the beat of another drummer when their present plan is true to their past and success.

Guys you must have forgotten about the original C4 ZR-1, which had the LT-5.....The LT-5 infact, had DOHC. Only 375HP, which for the mid 90s was very impressive. Lotus actually designed the engine. Pushrods FTW!

Heck, the Viper's interior isn't exactly winning awards, either.

I absolutely promise you I haven't forgotten about that car. I have a constant reminder sitting right there in the garage:
FYI, it is not the original ZR-1. In 1970 to 1972, there was a ZR1 option on Corvette, a high-performance package that included the LT1 engine, heavy duty M22 tranny, HD brakes, suspension, etc.

Looks like a 1990 ZR-1 to me? Wide wheels / rockers...
Were the 3rd brake lights built into the bumper on 90 ZR-1's or on the roof? How else can you tell from your pic?
