Pressure washer advice

I am thinking about a pressure washer after seeing all those posts about foam cannons/lances. Turns out that I found a gas pressure washer on sale and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Briggs & Stratton pressure washers. It is a small, gas pressure washer that does 1900PSI @ 2 GPM. I was thinking about the electric Husky 1800S model but, with the sale that is on the Briggs & Stratton is 40 dollars cheaper, and it has the connection on the wand that fits the foam cannon. The Husky would need the wand replaced if I wanted to attach a foam cannon. So if anyone has any experience with Briggs and Stratton pressure washers please chime in and let me know. Did some internet searching and only found a couple reviews. Here is a pic of the model I am looking at

I can't comment on the B&S unit, but don't buy the Husky. I have an electric Husky and it's a total POS. The trigger sticks all the time, it's almost impossible to get the lances to attach now, my turbo lance flew apart while I was using it, and sometimes I lose pressure.

Yeah, I've been through several of the electric Husky washers, too. Total POS.

That looks like a darn nice washer you have picked out. Looks very portable, too.

I would get a quality electric one instead. A gas PW has too much pressure for normal washing and is very noisy IMHO.

believe it or not I have good luck with my Black and Decker electric. bought it a few years ago at walmart. infact I just used it last weekend to pressure wash my entire cedar fence. I was using a gas powered one, but that sucked down too much gas, was too noisy and didn't work any faster *in this application*

model is PW300, specs are 1050 psi, 1700 psi MAX, 1.55 gpm (cold water only)

only complaint about it after a couple years of using it was the quick connect for the water inlet sucked. it would pop off the back or leak. so I bought a female to female hose adapter and use that now instead.

Even harder to believe is I have 2 Kärchers and both have worked well for years. But a PW breaks if it freezes or you have the motor on without water.

To be honest I was not even looking at gas ones until I saw this one. I did not want a big cart to wheel around. Good to know about the Husky washers though. Well I got a week to decide, then the price goes back up by 100 bucks.

Very true. Plus they smell up your garage.

If all you use it for is engine bays, electric will be fine. If you ever need it for fences, concrete, driveways etc etc I will take gas everytime
