Re: New members, can't see your post? Look in here!
sas71,
I think you're running into some other bug . . . if you try to create a new thread, you shouldn't get a "page not found", it should tell you that your post has been submitted to the moderators.
Try posting again, but use a thread title that's very simple (no punctuation or special characters). For whatever reason, the vB posting mechanism seems to hiccup on certain titles, and we're not sure why yet.
Thanks,
Tort

Re: New members, can't see your post? Look in here!
I'm a new member and tried to create a new thread twice today - both times, after hitting submit I just get a blank page. I have no idea if it was actually submitted or not (though it's been a couple hours since the first post, and I don't see it yet)...

You guys should set up some kind of automatic response that either points you to this thread or says your post is being sent to a mod for review per our under 10 post count policy, or something like that.

Re: New members, can't see your post? Look in here!
Sorry, guys . . . I've been swamped at work, and spent last night hiding from tornadoes here in Omaha. I'm clearing out the moderation queue now. If you don't see your post appear shortly, please resubmit it.
Thanks,
Tort

Before I posted, I knew there would be the delay-- I understand and appreciate the policy and have no problem there.
My question is: Do you have an automated message about posts going to the moderater queue?
Last night I posted my introduction thread which contained no images or links and was automatically uploaded.
This morning I started a new thread complete with pictures and links, but received no automatic message after submitting. I was just returned to the main thread list of the topic I submitted to.
Today, I've submitted a couple comments to already existing threads that only contained smilies. These were automatically uploaded.
Then, I posted a quick reply with no images, links, or smilies, but after submitting, I received a message that the post needed to be submitted to the moderator queue for review...
What's going on-- was the moderator queue message started today?
Is there a way to check if the new thread I started is in the queue?
Thanks.
