What should I "see" after posting?
So far all I get are blank, white pages, no text, no nothing, and the browser telling me the page is "Done" loading. This happens with both Firefox and IE. I frequent quite a few other forums and have zero problems, so it's something specific to autopia. However, other people seem to post fine, so it's not like the site's messed up, just something between me and this specific forum.
Any clue?
Apparently this showed up, so it seems only specific to new threads. I just can't say if it will go away after 10 posts or if I'm doomed forever unable to create new threads.
Also, I am unable to "preview" my threads either before posting. It just gives me the same blank screen and "Done" progress on the bottom of the browser, but only on the new thread. For example, I can preview this post fine.

Interesting . . . I know the forum occasionally has issues with long thread titles. Try posting a new thread with a short title, no special characters, and see if that gets you somewhere besides the blank page. If it works, your post will show up in the moderation queue.

That did it. Thanks. I just can't say why the forum system would act that way. You'd think they'd just toss in a character limit or something to prevent any issues.

I don't want to seem difficult. I started a thread about working on a jeep for next wekeend, with pics. I began the thread this morning and have not yet seen it. When can I expect to? The detail is not until next week, so it's not urgent - I'm just curious.
