Black Mica Mazda 3....Advice please!

Well, I've decided not to get the GTI...long story. I ended up getting, or will be getting a 2007 Mazda 3 5 Door Grand Touring in Mica Black. Car is sweet looking and will be a fun car to own, much more fun than my Sonata, I can tell.

I'll be taking it on a 350 mile road trip this weekend....I usually use a car bra, but won't have time to get one, and I am also on the fence about these after being a member here for so long.

Any tips on Mazda paint? I am probably going to go with 106FF, DG 601 and DG 105...of course some AW later on. Any other tips? I will have my trusty ONR to get the bugs off when I arrive.

Any tips are appreciated.

A few layers of blue painters tape if you want to protect the front end until you can get a clear bra. The vinyl bra is ok for just roadtrips, but it still causes marring from the wind.

As long as the rest of the car is protected with an LSP it should clean up very easy.

Enjoy your new ride!

Congrats on you Mazda 3. Nice car for a road trip, the paint is very thin on Mazda's so get anything on that front end for the trip because the paint chips very easily, just use what you have posted and then when you return from the road trip, do a complete job on it. Enjoy the trip and your Mazda 3.
