Here in Florida, were getting a lot of smoke from fires. I gave my car a quick wash, to get rid of the ashes/soot, as it was getting dark. I dried it, and placed my WW on the bumper to soak up some water.

Skip to this morning, some guy pulls up beside and says, that he saw a towel fly off my car, I didn’t even go back and get it, I figured that road rash and getting run over by other cars, it wasn’t worth using. Moral of the story, always walk around your car and look.

or just put the towel where it should be as soon as you're done.

I can't say I've ever done this before, but I'd imagine it's just a matter of time

It could always be worse...it was only a towel as opposed to some part or piece of your car flying off.

When I had a Jeep, I had put a 190 dollar Armani shirt on the roof after I got home from a club. The next morning I pulled out of the garage, drove to work, then remembered the shirt. It was gone and I was heart broken.

I did that with my cell phone last year while on vacation in Colorado. Bad part was that I had to buy a new phone, good part was that my boss didn't call me once during my vacation.

It was also about 2 hours past my supper time, so I was getting kind of dizzy, once I start thinking about food, my mind goes blank.
