High Foam Soap for Foam Gun

I've been playing around with my dilution mix with my Foam Gun and I can't seem to dial in a good mix with my Griots Soap for the gun for *foam*.

I will continue to use the Griots in the buckets as I prefer the loobricity of it.
However, I'm looking for a different soap for the foam gun.
OTC or mailorder.....I don't really care. Any recommendations.

The OTC I have used is Mothers which didn't play well with my water, and Meg GC which was okay....Dunno about the new Mothers or NXT wash.

What about the Optimum Car Wah or PB SSS or DP Xtreme ?
I think I'll be ordering from the Geek for some stuff and they carry these as well...

Re: High Foam Soap for Foam Gun

First of all, don't expect mounds of foam like a bubble bath...it just doesn't work that way. As far as that DP Xtreme....the amount of product that they suggest you use for foam gun is just enormous, I think any product that you used that much of would give you the foam they show in their pictures. What I'm saying is that the only thing Xtreme about it is the marketing (and yes, I do OWN that product and HAVE used it). My experience has been that washes that foam well in a bucket foam well with the gun, and vice versa.

Re: High Foam Soap for Foam Gun

Actually, I should have paraphrased decent foam & not harsh.

The foam gun is sorta like my *prewash* before I take the wool to the car.
