Talking Detailing Jeep Wrangler

I'm planning on detailing my jeep over the long weekend. It is a bright red color. I normally wax/polish it with a combination produck 2 or 3 times a year. Right now there are some minor swirl marks which are only visible in the bright sun. The jeep is a 1999.

I went to the automotive store the other day and was looking at products. Meguiar's has a 3 step process, which caught my eye. The paint cleaner, then a "deep crystal" polish, followed by a carnabura (sp?) wax. Would you reccomend this system for me? Would 2 or more coats of polish result in more shine? I want the paint to be very shiny.

If you don't believe this system would work for me, could you please reccommned another one? I've always enjoyed cleaning the family cars, and I'm new to the "true" detailing process. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

-Steve

Hey, another Jeep owner! Awesome!

The Meguiar's Deep Crystal system is OK. There are better products out there, though. The above link is a good one.

Hope you post some pics!
