I hate to be uninformed, but there is something I am just not getting. At the bottom of the perfect shine post (which is also available, along with many other excellent write-ups, in the 'Learn' area) by the Admin of this site, there is a link to the CMA site and a disclaimer that CMA is not affiliated with Autopia. Nothing at all against CMA (I have ordered from them), but I am wondering why the Autopia store is such a well-kept secret? I know that there are other sponsors of Autopia, but it seems like the Autopia store is the 'red-headed stepchild' of this site. Just curious.

I think DavidB is just a little bit wary of spamming his own pet project. I too have thought that the Autopia store is a little bit too low keyed. What say you, David?

Exactly why I posted the link instead of answering directly.

Just to clarify ... I wasn't referring to the kit (which seems like a heck of a deal incl. shipping!). I was referring to the Autopia Store in general. It hardly ever gets mentioned in threads and when I saw the mention of CMA at the bottom of the how-to, I was just sort of overcome with curiosity. ;->

It still could be construed as somewhat of a conflict of interest if the Autopia store gets hyped too much by David. But we can mention it as much as WE want!

Well, I only recently started to poke around there, but I would give it a great review. The links to reviews and how-tos with each product are very helpful. The store is nicely done - informative and easy to navigate. Plus, they have the Eimann Fabrik QD on sale for $12.95 right now, so I would say check it out, for sure.
